The Institute of Health Information and Statistics of the Czech Republic is an organisational unit of the state and has been established by the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic.

ÚZIS CR is the administrator of the National Health Information System. The Institute cooperates with hospital associations, professional medical societies, medical associations, health insurance companies and other organizations to refine the content of the National Health Information System and use the collected data.

The aim of this order was the development services of a smart quarantine portal, which contains publicly available reports. These reports contain comprehensive information about the Covid-19 infection, capacity management of laboratories and collection points. Call center reporting was also part of the data collected and utilized.

The main purpose of the portal is to graphically display current data related to the COVID situation according to various defined criteria and filters.

Users of the portal are mainly employees of the state administration, e.g. from the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Defense or individual governors.

Our specialists participated in the development of the portal in the areas of consultation, implementation, analysis, configuration, including the provision of training and workshops. We participated in the preparation of the environment for active work with Power BI and the creation of sets of Power BI reports, both for the public and for the dedicated part of the portal, also in the version for mobile devices.

The entire solution was implemented using Microsoft technologies and the solution is operated in Microsoft Azure.
